（一）锉刀的 曲面锉法
①外圆弧面的锉法 当余量不大时，一般采用锉刀顺着圆弧锉削的方法。在锉刀做前进运动的同时，还应绕工件圆弧的中心做摆动。此方法适用于圆弧面的精加工。但加工余量较大时，可采用横着圆弧锉的方法。按圆弧要求先锉成多棱形后，再用顺着圆弧的方法精锉成圆弧。
②内圆弧的锉法 锉削时，锉刀要同时完成二个运动：前进运动；向左向右移动，移动量约为半个到一个锉刀直径（对于半圆锉刀则为半个到一个锉刀宽度）；绕锉刀中心线转动。只有这二个运动同时进行，才能锉好内圆弧面。
（二）钳工的基本操作
1.锯削
用锯条对材料或工件进行切断或切槽等的加工方法称为锯削
2.椐削工具及其选择
锯削使用的工具为手锯和台钳。将工件在台钳上夹紧之后再进行锯削在选择锯条时，应根据被加工材料的硬度和锯削断面的大小来决定。粗齿锯条的容屑槽较大，适用于锯软材料和锯较大的断面；细齿锯条适用于锯削硬材料锯削管子或薄板时必须用细齿锯条，否则容易使锯齿条被钩住以致绷断。
